Los Angeles-based portrait photographer Rick Proctor
Rick Proctor grew up in the rural Southeast United States in the State of Georgia. He moved all over the states before settling down in Los Angeles to build his career in photography. Rick's personal work includes his most recent series, Stir Crazy, capturing people during the Coronavirus pandemic. In his series How I Get High, Rick photographs cannabis patients and the stigmas they go through trying to get help.
Rick has had the privilege of photographing with some of today's top Hollywood talent, including Lena Waithe, Nicole Byer, Tessa Thompson, and Director Justin Simien.
His work has been featured in LALA Magazine, Variety, Vice, Out, Deadline, Entrepreneur, Essence, Forbes, and more. His most recent clients include Disney / Freeform, Hulu, Universal Pictures, Culture Machine Productions, and Playboy.
